Agile Teaming
Find out how your team can reliably deliver high quality results, faster than you ever have.
Agility is for everyone
Regardless of industry or function, every team can benefit from agile ways of working. Over the past two decades, teams have used agile methods to deliver high-quality work faster, refining these methods over time. Research finds that an agile approach can double teams’ speed and simultaneously improve quality. Yet, the number of organizations taking such an approach hovers at less than 50 percent.
In this program, we help you develop the capability for agile teaming.
Master critical mindsets and behaviors
In experience-based workshops, your team will master the practices for agile teaming, adapting them to suit your needs. You’ll hone practices that will enable you to:
- Deliver value on time. Program-level planning makes sure teams are aligned on priorities. Sprint planning, done right, allows teams to commit to goals they know they can meet.
- Improve coordination. Daily standups give team members a chance to share progress and impediments, and ensure they get the help they need. Agile boards make progress transparent, facilitate communication between teams, and keep dependencies front of mind.
- Grow as a team. Regular retrospectives let team members discuss what went well and what can be done better. Team members agree on how they want to approach work differently next time—creating a cycle of continuous improvement.
We guide you in adjusting agile practices for your own team and learning how to use helpful tools. Our follow-up coaching ensures that your team gets the most benefit from their new practices.

Why it works
This program is founded on the latest insights in agile behaviors and methodologies. It is also informed by research in the spheres of organizational psychology and teaming.
Topics Covered
Agile practices and behaviors
Think and act with agility. You’ll see how working in sprints delivers greater value to the customer and keeps teams on track. We help you clarify a North Star that will ensure the customer is always front and center. A core tenet of agility is face-to-face interactions—you’ll reflect on how you can have more of them, with both customers and teammates.
Sprint planning
A little bit of planning goes a long way. You’ll learn what it means to create “user stories” in your context, and how to establish deliverables to be produced during the sprint. You’ll also create a system for smartly prioritizing work. We know that nothing happens in a vacuum—you’ll learn how to navigate dependencies with other teams.
Staying in sync through daily standup meetings
Improve coordination by picking up the nuts and bolts of a core agile practice, the daily standup meeting. You’ll practice sharing progress and goals as a team. You’ll see how the daily standup gets you help when you need it and enables your team to “swarm” on obstacles.
Radical transparency via agile boards
Put everyone on the same page. Agile boards publicly display the status of work, keep team members accountable, and facilitate communication between teams. We guide you in setting up an agile board that suits your needs, and can be easily updated by all team members. Say good-bye to redundant updates and frustrating email chains.
Staying focused during sprints
Keep your eye on the prize. You’ll see how your team can collaborate with others to achieve shared objectives. We guide you in establishing practices for getting to “done” and limiting work in progress. You’ll also adopt a mindset that welcomes change when it means delivering customer value.
Retrospectives and continuous improvement
Get better and better by mastering another core agile practice, the retrospective. You’ll practice reflecting on a sprint: what went well, what didn’t, and what you’ll do differently next time. You’ll experience how the retrospective promotes team growth, and improves processes and results.
Adapting practices to your organization
Our priority is to adapt agility to fit your needs—not the other way around. You’ll focus on principles over processes, and decide what suits your team. We guide you in experimenting with agile practices, seeing what works, and adjusting wherever necessary.
