POSITION REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with an objective-based design mindset. The Designer will work closely with the cofounders, developers and content leads to challenge the norm and think differently. The Senior UX & UI Designer’s job is to create beautiful and compelling visual designs, and is responsible for the full lifecycle of design for our desktop and mobile product. This includes:
The key activities for the role are:
- Defining user goals, models, taxonomy and user interfaces and translating them into wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Performing intuitive UX evaluations and competitive analysis to design and conduct usability testing and present recommendations that involve user experience
- Creating, presenting and delivering user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, process maps, feature lists and detailed taxonomy overviews to effectively communicate design ideas
- Creating branding materials and marketing collateral such as logo mockups, brand guidelines, website graphics, infographics, presentations and tradeshow resources
- Education/experience in Design and User Interaction
In this role you will be ideating with the team, developing original usability and design concepts. This position requires a solid understanding of designing intuitive app functionality, app architecture, user interfaces and navigation. We need someone who is a great communicator, team player, innovative thinker all rolled into one.
- You have significant experience creating highly-effective and beautiful user-focused interfaces across mobile and web apps
- You bend the Adobe Creative Suite to your will (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and know all the tools of the trade (e.g. Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, Axure)
- You have experience planning and executing new-concept design projects, from start to finish
- You have a strong understanding of use-cases, user flows and information architecture
- You have the ability to see and communicate your ideas
- Your design is well thought out, purposeful and has intent
